The Nelson Rowing Club provides opportunities from learn to row to competing at a National level, for both club and school. 

Waimea rowers have the opportunity to row at the South Island Secondary Schools Rowing Championships and the NZ Secondary Schools Maadi Cup (depending on numbers of students from year to year).
