Waimea College has a school swimming event each year. 

This is held in March in the school pool, which is a 33 1/3m pool.  Our competitive swimmers strive to break records held by our past swimming athletes. 

There is also the opportunity to represent Waimea College at the NZSS Swimming Championships which are held in July each year.
