Football at Waimea College

Waimea College works alongside the local clubs to provide opportunities for students to play football on a weekly basis.

A Waimea College team is selected early in Term 2 to play in school exchanges and in qualifying games against other local secondary schools, to go on to play in their respective National Secondary School Football tournament, which takes place during Winter Tournament Week.

The Football season is played in Term 2 and Term 3.
