Our Club 

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Wainuiomata Association Football club was established in 1959 and was a founding member of the Wellington Central League. Our home ground is Richard Prouse Park, Hine Road.

Wainuiomata currently fields 9 senior men's teams with the 1st team in The National League for 2021, we also have 1 women's team and of course our great Junior side of the club, this year 2021 we have over 200 juniors which is the first time in about 10 years! 

The clubrooms were built at Richard Prouse Park in 1968.

Notable players who have come through from the junior and senior clubs and gone on to represent New Zealand at various levels are:

Dave Houghton 1969 tour to Israel, Grant Turner 1982 world cup member, Malcolm Dunford, Rudi Feitsma, John Enoka.

Highlights

Winning Capital Premier 2020 and the Playoffs to secure a spot in The new National League/Central League for 2021.
