Here is a little introductory overview of our Club. We hope you will find our site helpful and decide that you would like to visit with us one day. We look forward to meeting you soon, whether as a member or a visitor.
Waipawa Bowling Club (WBC) was established in 1903. We are not a large club so you quickly get to know everyone else and before long you are one of the family, we do consider ourselves to be one of the friendliest bowling clubs in the Hawkes Bay area.
Our Club has one professional carpet green and a cosy clubhouse. We comfortably cater for players of all ages and all levels of ability - from beginners, to social players, to competition players.
The Club Handbook is issued at the start of each bowling season. This gives more detailed information, including some of the basic rules, duties and courtesies which apply to playing bowls. Additional information is provided through the Club Newsletters issued throughout the year and can be viewed on the above Newsletters page.
