Organiser Notes

All the club runs are up to the organiser as to what type of event they want to run.

Things to consider are:

  • length (half day or full day)

  • time of year (length of daylight) and probable weather conditions

  • for routes to appeal to drivers of pre-war vehicles, the length should ideally be not more than 120-150 miles per day

  • venues for either start, lunch & finishing point

  • if check points are being used they need to be in a safe location, clearly visible & on the left hand side of the road

All rallies routes must be checked (before the day) by the Club Captain or VCC member appointed by the club captainDetails of the event will be publicised in the branch newsletter the month prior to the event
