Juniors:

Whanganui Badminton operates junior programmes for both recreational and competitive players.

Weekly sessions for any juniors wishing to play badminton are held on Tuesday nights at the Springvale Stadium Extension. These sessions operate from the begining of March through to mid-November, except for the school holidays.

The more competitive player has the option of joining the competition groups. 4 age groups are catered for and the training nights involve coaching and playing competition matches. Representative fixtures are also organised. Membership of these groups is by selection.

Each year Wanganui holds an Open Junior Tournament for the U13, U15 and U17 age groups.
