LETS PLAY BALL!

Have you ever watched USA baseball or Women's Olympic Softball on TV? Did you play softball at school and enjoyed it?

Are you looking for a fun, family orientated, social or competitive Saturday sport?

Then softball is the game for you!

No matter what age, fitness or skill level you are, we have the grade to suit. We have heaps of fun playing the game and enjoy the "Softball Community" we socialise with.

WBOP Junior Season

Junior Softball season will start again in Term 4, 2024 (November 2nd) with U8 T-Ball and U11 Primary Softball.

If your school does not have a team, come down to   Carlton Reserve, Otumoetai on Saturday from 8.00am and we will find a team for you.

NO FEES FOR 2024!

We are holding “Have a Go” days at 10am-12pm on  Sunday 13th and Sunday 20th October, 2024 at Carlton Reserve.

New players can come and give Softball a go and are welcome to stay and watch the adults play.

WBOP Senior Season

Senior Softball season will start again on October 12th, 2024 with some awesome games played at Carlton Reserve, Otumoetai.

We currently have Ten Senior Women's teams and Ten Senior Men's teams. (14yrs+). See the list on our clubs page for list of teams near you.

WBOP Slowpitch Season

 Slowpitch Softball is played on Monday nights and starts up again on 4th November 2024 - 6pm, Carlton Reserve, Otumoetai.

Slowpitch is ideal for new players or those that wish to play a more relaxed game of Softball. Played in mixed teams, including at least four females, the ball is lobbed slowly to the batter for higher chance of a hit.

Get a team of family, friends or work collegues together and enter now.

 If you don't have a team, turn up at 5.30pm on the Monday night and we will put you in a team.
