EOTC Planning

The Board of Trustees requires staff /adults in charge to complete the necessary EOTC forms for every trip where students are involved in off-site activities.  All approved trips will be noted on the school calendar. All other trips need prior approval which can be gained using the EOTC under Admin.

The completed forms are to be with Dave Ashby two weeks prior to the EOTC event.

The number of relevant forms to be completed will depend on the risk level of the activity involved.

As a guideline, one day field trips of low risk will require fewer EOTC Forms to be completed compared to activities that involve overnight stays and / or higher risk to the health and safety of staff and students.

(Overseas trips require much longer time frames as approval will only be granted once the SMT and Board have accepted the planning documentation. See DA for the approval process guidelines).

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Police Vetting for Volunteers and Coaches

The Board of Trustees requires that (under the guidelines of the Vulnerable Childrens Act 2015) all adults (staff and parent volunteers) having contact with students through EOTC activities, complete a Police Check. Staff meet this requirement via teacher registration.

Contact Dave Ashby or Dave Keat for details of this process.
