Floorball 

Welcome to Wellington College Floorball (UniHockey) 

A flourishing sport at Wellington College, with our team winning the NZSS Senior Champs in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023.

Trials for term 1 will take place  on Wednesday 5th February for the Senior A and B and Junior A teams after which teams will be placed according to age with the opportunity to play with friends.

There will be further trials (mid Feb) for the Senior and Junior Teams competing in the Nationals in March.

Coaches will be provided for the Senior and Junior A teams and senior players will be encouraged  to coach junior teams. Keen players are encouraged to join the Wellington Storm Floorball Club, see link to the left.

• Leagues: Will run 13 February to 3 April during Term 1 and  16 October to 27 November  Games normally take place on Thursdays at the ASB. Term 1 

• CSW Finals: 20 March Akau Tangi

• NZSS Nationals: 29/30 March  Akau Tangi

Social teams of mates will be accepted if boys do not wish to go through the trial process. An adult manager must be included in this. Once all the boys are registred the names of the proposed team should be sent to d.keat@wc.school.nz A minimum of 6 maximum of 8 players are allowed. 

REGISTRATION CLOSES for Term 1, 2025: Tuesday 4th February. 

Note this is earlier than most other sports.

COSTS: $65 per term

NOTE: Payment must be made online for this registration form to process.  If you cannot pay online you can pay by cash or cheque at the Stationery shop.  Then contact the sports office for further registration details: d.keat@wc.school.nz.
