Training - Local Region
Rowers complete training every week according to their age group. In order to support training WCRC has access to different locations for training in the local region according to the type of training (and due to the weather - mainly wind).

Training Camps
Wellington College Rowing Club has two main training camps based in Whanganui:
Accommodation: Whanganui River Top 10 Holiday Park, 460 Somme Parade on the banks of the Whanganui River.
Summer Camp - mid January

Labour Weekend Camp
Accomodation: Kahutara School, 990 Kahutara Road, RD 1, Featherston. Ruamahanga River, 737 East West Access Road, Western Lake, Wairarapa. (This is the drop-off point for Saturday and pick up point for Sunday).
