Welcome to Wellington College Sailing

SEASON: Term 1

• 21-26 April: Teams Sailing -New Plymouth

Sailing at Wellington College focuses on learning to sail 420's,  and competing in the Lower North Island Teams Racing Championship with the aim of competing at the NZSS Teams Racing Championship.

We cater for novice and experienced sailors Years 9 - 13.  Season fees are $160 per sailor which gives access to the TRIYA 420 yachts,  all the equipment at Evans Bay and experienced and successful sailing coach's.  We train on Monday and Wednesday evenings usually from 4.00pm until 7.00pm.
Rides are not always available from school so the boys are encouraged to walk (about 20 minutes).  Most of our sailors are heavily involved with the sailing clubs and competitions around the Wellington Region.
