Traditional Fixtures

Wellington College has a number of annual fixtures against other schools which are viewed as Traditionals. The majority have been played over a number of years. These include the Quadrangular Rugby Tournament against Nelson College, Wanganui Collegiate and Christs College which is the oldest fixture in inter school rugby. The Cricket traditional versus Whanganui Collegiate has been played since 1883.

Traditionals involve the Premier teams unless otherwise identified.

12 June:        Silverstream - Rugby, Football, Basketball (a) 

25 - 27 June:  Rugby Quadrangular (Nelson) 

24 July:         Palmerston North Boys High - Football 1st XI, 2nd XI, U 15;

                    Rugby U 15;  Basketball Senior A, Senior B & Junior A, Hockey 1st XI

                     and U 15,Debating Senior & Junior (a)  

12 Aug:         New Plymouth Boys High - Football, Hockey, Basketball, Golf (h)

2 - 7 Sept:      Winter Tournament Week
