West Coast Hockey Draw, 8 - 12 April.

 

West Coast Hockey plays this week with the Premier Men competing for their 6-a-side trophy and the Premier Women start another round this week.  There is no Collegiate games this Friday night and NO hockey for the following TWO weeks due to school holidays, with junior grades starting after the school holidays.

 

The West Coast Hockey draw for this week at Greymouth’s Westurf Stadium is:

 

Wednesday 10 April

Duty team: Hokitika

Premier Men

6.30-8.30pm 6-a-side trophy round.  All teams must register with the organisers at Westurf by 6.15pm.  All teams to provide an umpire.

Duty team: Karoro

 

Thursday 11 April

Premier Women

6.15pm Greymouth v Kowhai (Hokitika, Karoro)

7.45pm Karoro v Hokitika (Greymouth, Kowhai)

Duty team: Hokitika

 

WEEK 5, 15-19 April

There is no West Coast club hockey this week, due to school holidays.

 

WEEK 6, 22-26 April

There is no West Coast club hockey this week, due to school holidays.

WCHA welcomes players and volunteers for the 2024 season.  Please keep an eye out on our website, or our Facebook Page ('West Coast Hockey Association'), to find out what's happening for the coming season.

Also keep an eye out for summer hockey in Greymouth and Hokitika.

2024 CLUB COMPETITION FORMATS:

WOMEN: Yr9 & above, 11-a-side full field, 4x15min.

MEN: Yr9 & above, 11-a-side full field, 4x17min.

COLLEGIATE: Yr8 up to Yr10 boys & Yr11 Girls, 9-a-side with goalie, full field (10 or 11-a-side if both teams agree), 2x30min.

PRIMARY: Yr5 to Yr7, 6-a-side plus goalie, half field, 2x25min.

KIWISTICKS: From Yr1 to Y4 or new Y5 players, 6-a-side, quarter field, 2x20min.

SMALL & FUNSTICKS: 4-8yrs old, Skills sessions with game sessions maybe following later.
