WESTLAKE NETBALL CLUB

GRADING DAY - Saturday 5th April 2025

The Club grading draw for game 1 is now online via the website (Draws and Results), Netball North Harbour - Club Grading or through the Sporty scoring app for the 5th April.

​​​​​​​Round times:

  • Game 1:  There are 4 rounds at 8.00am/8.45am/9.30am/10.15am
  • Game 2:  The 4 afternoon rounds will be 12.00/1.00pm/2.00pm/3.00pm

If you play at 8am, you are likely, but not necessarily, playing your 2nd game at 12.00pm; 8.45am will play at 1pm and so on.  This will be dependant on results from the first rounds and we will advise everyone of their next game time as soon as we are able to.


Format:

As there are only 2 x games on the one day for grading, it will look a little different from previous years. 

  • Games are 4 x 8min quarters with breaks of 1/2/1.
  • The top 16 seeded teams plus 4 others will play in the 8am round.  These games will ALL be played outside and there will be no games played in the arena during the day.
  • There can be NO DRAWS for games.  Play on until the next goal is scored.

Scoring:

Scoring will be done on the Sporty app and I’ve attached the scoring codes for each team.  If you need instructions or a refresh on how to use the scoring app, please go to Netball North Harbour - Scoring - Game Day App.  There are videos and instructions for those who are new or want to brush up.

Warm-up courts:

Any spare court that is available including cts 3, 4 and 5 which do have the pickleball barriers but please just work around them.

Other info:

  • The Sports Injury Clinic will be open so if you need strapping, please get there early.  The café will be open for refreshments. 
  • There will be tables upstairs for teams to use throughout the day, and if you wish to bring a gazebo please put these down alongside courts 13 and 14 (motorway side).
  • Smiths Shoes will also be here on the day.

 ARRIVE EARLY - Parking will be at very limited.
