Welcome to Whitby - a progressive bowling club in the heart of the community of Whitby Porirua, with one cotula green. There is ample off street parking.

We have approximately 110 men and women members and we also host other bowlers from the Wellington area as well as Casual bowlers.

If you are unsure about the game of bowls, join as a Social Member. This will give you the opportunity to try out the game, and in no time you will be hooked.

Membership Rules

On Friday nights several members get together to socialise for a few hours. If you want to have a game of pool, darts, indoor bowls, cards etc then we can cater for those as well.

The Bar is open on Friday evenings between the hours of 4:30pm and 7:00pm Prices are very reasonable.

PLAY HARD. HAVE FUN!

This really does sum up the Whitby Bowling Club experience and approach to bowls. If it's serious competitive bowls you want then we can certainly deliver. If it's the more relaxing fun bowls and the social side you're after, you'll also find that in abundance at Whitby.
