Woolston Bowling Club was established in 1938 and is still situated at 21 Silvester Street, Woolston, Christchurch, which is behind Woolston Park on Ferry Road. It has one natural surface plus two rinks.

If you don't own a set of bowls, no problem, we have spare sets of club bowls for you to use.

It doesn't matter whether you want to play bowls for Recreation or Serious Competition, this great game is all about fun, skill and people, so come down and have a go at Lawn Bowls; at

This website is here for its members to read and contribute to.  I look forward to receiving any notices that you wish to send out via your clubs website.

Be aware of Upcoming Events at Woolston Park Bowls:
All information regarding the 2018 - 2019 'Upcoming Events at Woolston Park Bowls' WILL been entered on your Club Programme page  so if your've lost your club book or require more information regarding the Bowls Canterbury 'Conditions of Play' , results at Woolston Park Bowls  these can be accessed via the Woolston Park Bowls Calendar on the Woolston Park Bowls Website and is updated regularly when information is received.

BAR FACILITIES :                                                 The Authorities are  tightening up on all clubs  serving Non Members so when you bring a visitor into the club you MUST get them to sign the visitors book and also introduce them to the bar staff so that they know who they are when purchasing drinks.  YOU SHOUD ALL HAVE YOUR  MEMBERSHIP CARDS WITH YOU WHEN AT THE CLUB AND SHOW THEM IF REQUESTED, and if you do not have your membership card on you,  you MUST be signed in  by a member in the visitors book located at the bar.

Hire Club Facilities:                                    

Our Club facilities are available for HIRE for Social Events, Community Events or Business Meetings.
We have available a fully Licenced Bar, Full Catering Kitchen, Good Dance Floor / Meeting Space with a Excellent Sound System.

Saturdays at 1.30 pm.
Mid week competitions and social games. Regular tournaments are held over the summer season :  Triples- Tournaments ,  3rd Sunday each month.       Open 1/2 Day Triples - 1st Friday of the month.

CLUB COACHING                                                     We have an excellent club coach (GAVIN HOOPER) who holds coaching sessions on TUESDAYS starting at 4.30pm. He will also give individual coaching by appointment TO ALL MEMBERS by appointment so please avail yourself of his services. REMEMBER we can ALL learn from any coach.
