WTTA COVID-19 operating protocols for players and visitors


Stay at home if you are unwell or if you need to be in isolation/quarantine for any reason


No more than 100 people in the stadium at any one time


Maintain safe physical distancing


Players come to the stadium prepared in their playing gear and leave in their playing clothes. No need for changing areas. No need for showers.


Sanitise hands at wall mounted dispenser at entrance when entering and when exiting the stadium.


Report attendance and time of arrival and departure at each session. Provide contact tracing information to club runner.


Pay for club sessions by internet banking deposit preferably rather than cash. Advance payments can be made


Sanitise hands between each game


Due to safe physical distancing requirements, singles games only, doubles must not be played unless the participants come from the same family bubble


One ball per table. At end of game clean ball with hand sanitiser and dry with paper towel


Should a ball enter the playing court from another court do not collect it, leave it to the player from the other court to collect


If using multiple balls for training, use a ball collection tool, and sanitise all balls and the collection tool afterwards


No hand shaking


No touching or wiping hands over table surface. Wipe moisture off table at end of games with paper towel


Bring own water bottles filled with water. There will be limited access to water fountain for filling bottles only


Bring your own eating and drinking utensils. Wash them after use and place in sealed container/bag in your lunch bag.


When using toilet facilities sanitise the touch points such as door handle, seat, cistern and taps on each occasion used. Spray bottles of antivirus sanitiser and paper towels provided
