Balaclava School

Basketball Otago are taking registrations for the 2024 season. 

All grades play for 12 weeks: 19th May - 15th AugustThere are three grades this year:

Year 1 and 2: Mini Dunkers 3 v 3 (maximum 6 players per team), half court, 30 minute games: Thursday afternoons from 3.30pm  9th May - 17th August COST $30

Year 3 and 4: Junior Ballers 4 v 4 (maximum 7 players per team), half court, 30 minute games:  Thursday afternoons from 3.30pm 4th May - 17th August  COST $35

Year 5 and 6: Rising Stars 5 v 5 (maximum 8 players per team), full court, 30 minute games: Thursday afternoons from 3.30pm 14th May - 17th August  COST $50Parents will be responsible for transporting their child to and from the games.All children will need to wear a mouth guard for all games.In order to enter teams in the competition, we will require parents to assist with coaching and managing the teams.  PLEASE NOTE: Each team must  supply one person for the score bench for their own games. If each team supplies a score bench person, no disputes can occur. 

The number of teams we will be able to enter into the competition will depend upon parental support in coaching and managing.  As per other Balaclava School sport codes late registrations may not get accepted depending on team / parent coach numbers.Please complete and submit the form below by Thursday 28th March  in order for teams to be collated and submitted to Basketball Otago.
