PRESIDENT’S REPORT 2016

Once again the year has been very good for the Club, financially and membership wise.  All seems positive for the coming year.

I would once again like to thank my Committee for their tireless work over the year.  Also thanks to those members who gave their time freely to the Club activities.

With the Womens Gala and some very good Tournaments, we can keep our finances secure.  Along with Friday nights that remain very popular, 20 to 35 people most nights.  Thanks to Judy, Beryl, Trish, Sue and Dale.

Sadly, we have lost two valuable members during the year, Margie Grant and BJ Stevenson.  Both will be greatly missed.

Judy Richards is standing down as Vice President, thanks very much for your support Judy.

Thanks to all members for their continued support throughout the year.

I would like to wish everyone all the best for the 2016/17 season.

Our results in Centre events were not quite as good as previous years, but we had several runners up.  Congratulations to Cherry for taking out the 1st Year Ladies Singles title.  All our new bowlers played very well.

Looks good for the future years.

It is also with regret we must acknowledge the passing of Clarrie Brooks.
