Paparua Smallbore Rifle Club

The Paparua Smallbore Rifle Club, is at 140 Waterloo Road, Hornby. It's  a 25 yard indoor facility which caters for smallbore (.22) rimfire rifles, and offers both prone and benchrest.

It also features a well appointed clubrooms with a warm fireplace and full kitchen.

The experienced and friendly members at Paparua welcome anyone from secondary school age, who are wanting to try the sport or improve their shooting. Casual shooters or potential new members can go along every Monday from 7pm during the winter season. The cost for a casual shooter is $20 for a 13 shot card.  All the equipment needed is provided - a rifle, ammunition, targets, safety briefing and coaching. No prior experience or license is needed.
