KEY INFORMATION
Game Times:
As a guideline, the approximate times for Saturday netball are likely to be:
Year 5 & 6: between 11:00am and 2:00pm
Year 7 & 8: between 9:00am and 11:00am
Year 5 & 6 games will be 4 x 8 minute quarters, 6 a side game
Year 7 & 8 games will be 4 x 10 minute quarters, 7 a side netball.
Competition grades: All teams are graded. Term 2 is for grading and Term 3 is for the competition
Year 5 and 6 team numbers: CQS try to work to a maximum of 8 players per team (6 on the court at one time)
Year 7 and 8 Team Numbers: We try to work to a maximum of 9 players per team (7 on the court at one time)
Team Practices: One practice a week at school, times to be confirmed with Coaches. Each team is required to provide a Coach, Manager and an Umpire
Umpires: Every team must supply an umpire for their game each week. If we don’t have a parent umpire we pay a student to umpire and this comes out of the netball fees – so the more parents we can get to umpire the better
Parent help: We need Coaches, Managers and Umpires. Once a term, parents need to help out with Shop and Container Duty at the EBIS netball courts
