ULALEI Wainuiomata is running a football competition for all Wainuiomata primary schools this summer. Wainuiomata has never had a regular football competition for primary schools. We think this is the perfect time to promote the beautiful game to our Wainuiomata tamariki. No more trips over the hill - promoting healthy living in Wainuiomata.

Games will be played at Frederick Wise Park.
Day/Time: Games will be played on Monday afternoons outside of school hours. The times will be dependent on the number of teams registered, but we would like the games to be held between 4.30pm and 6pm. The younger tamariki will play in the early rounds. The Year 7/8s will play in the late rounds.
Dates: February 12-March 18th.
Teams: Teams are dependent on the number of interested students, as well as the number of coaches per team. We may end up with multiple teams for each year group, or alternatively there may not be a team entered.
Please note your team and friend requests in the comments section below. Our teams are selected by the teachers at Fernlea and we do our best to accommodate additional requests, however this may not always be possible. Our aim is to have players participate in a fun and inclusive environment, where the school values are reflected.
Coaches: Please indicate if you are able to coach/manage your child's team, we need at least one coach per team!! Without coaches we cannot enter teams. If you've never coached before, please consider stepping up and investing in Fernlea, and your child's development! Coaches will designate a meeting place outside the stadium to meet players and then take them all in together. Coaches/teachers may decide to run practise sessions during the week and will liaise with you about this. We will do our best to keep team numbers to less than 8 players (5 on the court and 3 subs).
