COME AND JOIN OUR WONDERFUL SAINTS SOCIAL WOMENS TEAM

​​​​​​​Our social womens team is for any woman wanting to play T20 cricket starting at 2pm on a saturday afternoon. It is fun and social but our team is pretty useful. They usually finish the season in 1sst or 2nd spot and are the most successful womens social team in recent Christchurch history.  They are always looking for new players either full time or part time. The players are often  20+ years of age  plus and enjoy a wine or beer at the clubrooms after the game.

Some have young children but that does not hinder them playing as there are other women/supporters who can help when you're on the field. 

Subs are $150 per player for the season which includes gear (wickets , practice balls, pads, bats , helmets and gloves), club shirts , new game  balls and all costs associated with registering a team and playing on grass pitches (and artificials from time to time). Although the team does not train you are always welcome to join our Premier and premier Reserve teams and also at pre season training - some take this opportunity  

We welcome women who are new to Christchurch or may be at Canterbury University, Lincoln University or Ara (Christchurch Polytech). Of course you may wish to play more competitively and so we have a Premier  (and Premier Reserve) Womens cricket team with NZ, Canterbury Rep and Age Group rep players.
