Registration Information
Where: Tauranga Domain all weather track (Google Maps)
When: Every Monday night in term 4 and term 1. Meet on the grass area at the finish line at 5:20pm. We finish around 7pm. Mini club finishes approx. 6:20pm.
What: After our team chat your child will head off in their age groups (grades), and start their first of three to four rotations. Children will get the opportunity throughout the terms to participate in all activities and improve on their skills, times and measurements.
Your childs age is as of the 31st of December 2026.
Mini Club 3-6 yrs (born 2020-2023)
Mini Club is full of a variety of activities. The emphasis is on FUN and to develop co-ordination and the love of running. For the older Mini Club members, they get the opportunity to progress towards the next steps of learning some 'big' athletics events during the season of long jump, shotput and track running.
Juniors 7-14 yrs
Members born between 2012-2019 who are participating in club nights and/or club runs and other competitive activities.
7-9 yrs - 60m, 100m, 200m, Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump
10-14 yrs - 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Shot Put, Discus, High Jump, Long Jump
Senior social & competitive 15-19 yrs
A social member is defined as a club member born in or before 2012 who only participates at club nights and club runs. This generally does not include competitions offered through their centre or inter-club competitions.
Members born in or before 2012 who participate in any activities the club and centre may offer that are generally considered of a competitive nature. This could include inter-club events, centre championships, etc.
100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Shot Put, Discus, High Jump, Long Jump
Athlete Development Programme
30-minute sessions for aged 11 to 19 during the final rotation of club night, focused on developing well-rounded athletes through speed, strength, agility, coordination, mobility and movement skills that benefit athletics and all sports.
The athlete development program is an opt-in programme, those that don’t want to join are able to complete a standard rotation.

Greerton Athletics - 50% - Hireage of grounds, coaches, equpiment repairs, equipment replacement, prize-giving etc.
Spike shoes
Tauranga Domain - 6mm cones for grade 10 and above. Must use starting blocks. Additionally, 9mm cones are allowed exclusively for high jump.
