Junior Teams
We currently have the following junior teams that play in the Thames Valley League.
- Under 12 's - 11th and 12th grade mixed and combined
- Under 10's - 9th and 10th grade mixed and combined
- Under 8's - 7th and 8th grade mixed and combined
- Under 6's - players aged 6 and below
2024 Age Groupings and Playing Formats Summary
- U12 (born 2012 and 2013) – 9 v 9 playing format.
- U10 (born 2014 and 2015) – 7 v 7 playing format.
- U8 (born 2016 and 2017) – 5 v 5 playing format.
- First Kicks U6 (born 2018 and 2019)
The player’s age group is the age they’re turning in the current year i.e if a player is turning 10 at any time during 2024 they would be U10 grade.
Trainings
Trainings are on Wednesdays at our home grounds. Times of each training is determined at the start of each season.
Game days
Please arrive 15-30 minutes before the game starts. Games are either held at home at Hugh Hayward Domain or away at other clubs grounds.
Setup/pack down: We encourage parents and players to help set up and packdown the fields with the Coaches at home game days to make the day go smoother.
After match: Players and families are invited back to the club rooms for player of the day presentations. For all home games we host the other team, this involves parents bringing a plate of food for the players to enjoy after the game. The Club provides cordial, water, tea and coffee to those that want it.
Away games: Some games require travel, dependent on the team/grade. Reach out to other parents to see if you can carpool should you need it.
