The clubs first committee meeting was recorded in May 1948 in the original minute book still held in the clubs records.

The clubrooms were built at Naenae Park in 1974 - both original builders and engineers are now deceased.

Due to the deterioration of the clubrooms over many years and a the sinking land underneath it was necesary to demolish the clubrooms in 2011.

The club continues to field teams in junior and senior grades with its memorabilia being stored at HVSA clubrooms at Fraser Park.

All Premier senior games were moved to Fraser Park  in 1983.
