About our club

We offer members quality coaching, certificates, friends, and a supportive riding community.  We aim to provide great competitions, and training opportunities to suit all riders no matter where you fit in the spectrum of the equine riding environment.

We are part of the Kumeu District Pony Club (KDPC) which is in turn part of the Waitemata Rodney Area Pony Club (WRAPC). WRAPC is the area club that represents us at NZ Pony Club (NZPC), our governing body.  NZPC provides the coaching and certificate frameworks that that allows young people to gain qualifications, while promoting the highest ideals of behaviour, sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, to create strength of character and self discipline. Our District, Area and National clubs also give our members access to many opportunities for team and individual events and our fees include the levies paid to these organisations.

Our Grounds

We are privileged to have the Helensville Showgrounds as our riding grounds. We have a great grass surface outside our clubrooms with more space in the oval and around the track to spread out on rally nights and for our events. The Helensville Showgrounds offer Key Holder access to Helensville Pony Club (HPC) members for $120 a year, giving you full access to the track and showgrounds year round. As a HPC member you will also be able to use any of our gear that is left out for use. To find out more visit the Helensville Show website.
