PLAYERS CODE OF CONDUCT - Netball is a team sport and commitment to the 'The Team' is essential because 'there is no I in Team'!

  • Support each other and always bring a positive attitude.
  • If you don't turn up for training (without a sufficient reason) this will impact the team and potentially your time on court on Saturdays.
  • If what you have to say is not nice, then DON'T say it.
  • Punctuality is expected as it demonstrates your commitment to the team.
  • Always respect the referees and play to the rules.
  • Always maintain the highest level of sportsmanship, especially respecting the opposition team.
  • If you're not sure about something then please ask one of your coaches.

PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT - It's sometimes not easy watching from the side-line but being a respectful parent-supporter is the best role modelling you can set for your daughter

  • If what you have to say is not nice, then DON'T say it.
  • As coaches we are happy to receive your feedback, in private.
  • Make sure your daughter is on time.
  • Always demonstrate support for the Coaches and the Team.
  • Always respect the referrers and opposition team/supporters.

COACHES CODE OF CONDUCT - Keeping all players engaged and learning.  When they are all at different levels and the rules still need to be adhered to, it is a juggling act.

  • Treat the girls with respect, always!
  • Deliver constructive feedback in a way that upskills each player.
  • Lead by example.
  • Be open and approachable to players and parents at all times.
  • Always respect the referees and opposition team/supporters.
