PLAYERS CODE OF CONDUCT - Netball is a team sport and commitment to the 'The Team' is essential because 'there is no I in Team'!
- Support each other and always bring a positive attitude.
- If you don't turn up for training (without a sufficient reason) this will impact the team and potentially your time on court on Saturdays.
- If what you have to say is not nice, then DON'T say it.
- Punctuality is expected as it demonstrates your commitment to the team.
- Always respect the referees and play to the rules.
- Always maintain the highest level of sportsmanship, especially respecting the opposition team.
- If you're not sure about something then please ask one of your coaches.
PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT - It's sometimes not easy watching from the side-line but being a respectful parent-supporter is the best role modelling you can set for your daughter
- If what you have to say is not nice, then DON'T say it.
- As coaches we are happy to receive your feedback, in private.
- Make sure your daughter is on time.
- Always demonstrate support for the Coaches and the Team.
- Always respect the referrers and opposition team/supporters.
COACHES CODE OF CONDUCT - Keeping all players engaged and learning. When they are all at different levels and the rules still need to be adhered to, it is a juggling act.
- Treat the girls with respect, always!
- Deliver constructive feedback in a way that upskills each player.
- Lead by example.
- Be open and approachable to players and parents at all times.
- Always respect the referees and opposition team/supporters.
