Firearms Legislation in New Zealand places restrictions on the use of firearms by certain members of the public.

Any person who has been prohibited by the Commissioner of Police from owning firearms, or, has had his/her Firearms Licence revoked, may not become, or remain, a member of any club affiliated to Target Shooting New Zealand (TSNZ).

Once a potential member has been active at any TSNZ affiliated club on more than six occassions, he/she must become a member of Target Shooting New Zealand Incorporated. This is to ensure the member, and our organisation, are covered by the TSNZ public liability insurance policy.

TSNZ annual membership can be processed on the TSNZ website or a form can be downloaded, completed, and processed manually.

The clubs controlling activities at our Turnbull Thomson Park range, are unable to offer membership to anyone under thirteen years of age.
