PLAYER SPONSORSHIP 2021-2022
Metro - All for one, and one for ball.

Here at Metro Softball Club, we are dedicated to providing the sports of Softball to the local community regardless of age, ability, gender, religion or socioeconomic status. We understand that there are several members within the softball community who have been hit hard by the effects of COVID-19 and/or are struggling financially. 

Following on from success in the 2020/2021 season, Metro Softball Club has enlisted the help of some generous local businesses and families, all of whom want to ensure that the sport we all love is accessible to all. Through their support, this will allow the club to provide a limited number of 'Sponsorship' opportunities to players who would otherwise be unable to play this season

WHAT DOES IT COVER? This sponsorship would cover either half or full registration fees for the 2021 - 2022 season with Metro Softball Club. You can also apply for the one-off cost of essential playing equipment such as a glove or cap, or assistance with Representative Trial costs. 

WHO CAN APPLY? This is open to anyone in our Metro community, regardless of age, previous playing ability or current team registration. They must, however, be Auckland based. 

 CAN I HELP OUT? Yes! We are still actively seeking sponsors. Please contact us for info.

 APPLYING FOR SPONSORSHIP

If you are interested in applying for player sponsorship/assistance for the 2021 - 2022 season,
please email [email protected] with the following information:

DOB & Gender (If a junior player)      |    Intended playing grade(s) for the season     
  Level of Sponsorship required (i.e Full / half / equipment only)

Please note that ALL applications will be completely confidential, and player anonymity will remain if selected. The recipients of sponsorship will be contacted in September.
