2024 Representative Programme

Netball Wairarapa have an aspiration to provide opportunities to players, coaches, managers & selectors within our community. 

Annually we provide development & representative offerings for our community to participate in local & national tournaments. 

Representative Trial Information

Netball Wairarapa will be offering the below age groups in 2024:

• Under 14 Representative Programme (12 or over and under 14 as at 1 January 2024)
• Under 16 Representative Programme (14 or over and under 16 as at 1 January 2024)
• Under 18 Representative Programme (16 or over and under 18 as at 1 January 2024)  

Players under the age of 14 as at 1st January 2024 are not eligible for representative offerings. 

Player Eligiblity 

Please note ALL players must be registered & playing in the Netball Wairarapa competitions in 2024 to be eligible to play for Netball Wairarapa. Players must also regsiter & play within their eligible age group in the first instance.

Representative Player Registrations  

Once aware of dates/your availability please register .Players considered for selection should be available to attend all trainings & tournaments.However if you cannot avoid missing a few dates, you may still register!  ​​​​​​Please clearly communicate clashes to us. 

Please ensure you select the correct positions on your registration form as it is very hard to make changes on the day and we cannot guarantee you will get a run in your preferred position if you make a change after the registration cut off date. If there is an overload in certain positions i.e. midcourt some players may be asked to play in additional positions. We will endeavour to ensure all players have the opportunity to play in their preferred position(s) for a minimum of three games per trial. 

Dispensations

Inability to attend the trial date(s) may impact the trialists selection. We strongly recommend you make yourself available for all trial date(s). In special circumstances a dispensation may be granted, provided a valid reason has been given for why a trialist may miss a trial. Sunday 5th May - 10am for all age groups

Monday 6th May -

U14's 5pm  - 7pm

U16's 5.30pm - 7.30pm 

U18's 6pm - 8pn

Wednesday 8th May - Times to be confirmed at Monday Trials
