OURLC Head Coach:

Trainings:

The head coach is responsible for planning the team strategy,, setting team training goals and focus, developing the team game plan, and helping identify areas for team and individual development. With the support of the manager the head coach will set the training schedule and will be repsonible for coming up with a weekly training plan and lead trainings. Communicating expectations and responsibilities to team trainer and assistant coach.

Game day:

The head coach will be responsible for leading the team aspects of the warm up, after the trainer has done their part and will give insights into the plan for the game. The head coach will also be responsible for substitution’s and delivering key messages throughout the game and at halftime. After the game the head coach will have a chat with the team back in the sheds about the game and will speak at the aftermath if required. 


OURLC Assistant Coaches:

Trainings:

The assistant coach’s role is to support the head coach with their responsibilities and lead drills at trainings that the head coaches task them with. Assistant coach fill in for the role of head coach if they are absent.

Game Day:

The assistant coach’s role is to support the head coach with their game day responsibilities and lead aspects of the warm up if required. Assistant coach fill in for the role of head coach if they are absent on game day. 


OURLC Trainer:

Trainings 

The trainer will be responsible for warm ups, conditioning, hydration and cool downs at trainings.

Game day:

On game day the training will be

  • Player strapping (only if trainer has ability to do so). 

  • Leading aspects of the warm

  • Hydration & injury management during the game

  • Cool down


OURLC Manager:

During the week:

  • Posting to the Facebook group training reminders & polls

  • Posting to the Facebook group an availability poll for games. 

  • Recording player availability and providing this to the coach to select the team.

  • Ensuring players are registered before game day.

  • Posting to the Facebook group game day reminders and game day agenda. 

Game Day:

  • Filling in the team sheet on game day for match manager and sort interchange cards (if required)

  • Set up changing room

  • Put out marquee if required and help with any field set up and pack down

  • Ensuring all the playing kit is collected after the game and is washed.

  • Reminding players of aftermath time and venue if there is one.  

Other: 

  • Ensuring players have paid their season fees
