CODE OF CONDUCT

We would love to have as many kids as possible to play rugby but to achieve this we need to work together and support each other. Junior rugby and rugby at ParePlim is run by volunteers and thus we would like you to acknowledge the following terms and conditions:

  • Be respectful to rugby administrators, game officials, committee members, coaches and managers, your team mates and the opposition. We want a positive environment for our players.
  • As rugby is a team sport, we expect you to turn up to training sessions. Where older grades may have 2x trainings a week, the expectation is to at least attend one of the trainings.
  • Team allocations are at the discretion of the Junior Committee and Coaches – allocations depend on registration numbers and number of available coaches. You are registering to play rugby for ParePlim and not for a specific team or specific coach or specific friend.
  • Dispensations will not be granted unless your player meets the medical requirements for dispensation with supporting medical referrals. Dispensation applications and process is granted through WRFU and is not a Club decision. Please refer to WRFU grading chart to determine your player’s correct grade .https://www.wrfu.co.nz/junior/forms-documents/wrfu-documents/
  • We are a community Club and often share team photos and news via social media, registering is acceptance of this.
  • Player jerseys are owned by the club and provided to a player for the season.  The jersey should be returned in appropriate condition at the end of the season otherwise a charge of $85 is applicable.
