Our biggest Fundraisier for the Country Club has been and gone...Three days of golf across Friday and Saturday, finishing on Sunday with our juniors, made for an unforgettable Christmas Cheer Weekend.
The golf was outstanding, the food was a hit, and while the weather tested us at times, Sunday delivered a beautiful day for the kids a perfect way to wrap up the weekend.
Christmas Cheer is no small undertaking. Months of planning, organising, fixing, and the occasional crossed fingers go into bringing it all together, and once again it paid off. We are incredibly proud to host what many consider the biggest amateur golf tournament in the country and this year truly lived up to that reputation.
None of it would be possible without the continued support of our incredible sponsors and supporters. Year after year, their backing makes this event what it is. The prize table was nothing short of impressive and certainly brought out everyone’s competitive side.
At the heart of it all, Christmas Cheer isn’t just about golf or prizes. It’s about the people, the laughter, the stories shared, the juniors on Sunday, the volunteers who give their time, and the sponsors who continue to believe in our small but passionate community.
That’s the magic of Christmas Cheer, and it’s why we’ll keep coming back, striving to do it even better, and doing it all again next year.
