Queenstown Adult Module - Information

Welcome to Touch Southland for a great season of summer Touch - the biggest participation team sport in New Zealand! 

We look forward to bringing you a fun, enjoyable and professional summer at the Frankton Events Centre. 

Queenstown Adult Venues;

Queenstown Adult Modules 2024  

1.Queenstown Events Centre, Frankton - Games will be played between 6pm and 8pm on Monday Evenings

Grades: Mixed, Mens, Womens​​​​​​​

  • 8-week competition, First week of games Monday 5th February 2024 No games Monday 25th March due to Otago Anniversay Day & 1st April due Easter Monday 
  • Playing Dates 5,12,,19,,26 February, 4,11,18 March and 8th April  2024
  • Games will be played between 6pm and 8pm 

COMPETITION FORMAT

  • Please adhere to the Touch New Zealand 8th Edition rulebook. Base rules will be published on our website Click here under Rules of Touch
  • 6-weeks of round robin play 
  • Semi-finals Monday 18th March 2024
  • Finals Monday  8th April 2024 
  • No games Monday 25th March due to Otago AnniversY dY & 1st pf April due to Easter Monday .  ALL teams will have games on semi final and final weeks. 
  • Mixed teams must have a minimum of two females on the field at any time
  • Fees - $ 230 per team  - (teams must have a minimum of 12 players or a maximum of 16 players registered) 
  • $12 per team payable to the ref at the start of each game
  • Teams need to have at least 12 players registered & paid before the first week of competition before they can be entered into the draw 



THURSDAY 

2.Queenstown Rec Ground (Wakatipu RC), Queenstown  - Games will be played between 6pm and 8pm on Thursday Evenings

Grades: Mixed, Mens, Womens​​​​​​​

  • 8-week competition, First week of games Thursday 12th October 2023 
  • Playing Dates ,12,19,26 Oct, 2,9,23,30 Nov , 7 Dec 2023 
  • No games 16th November due to the Marathon 
  • Games will be played between 6pm and 8pm
