Students are organised into the below groups for lessons.


To pass each Level:


 Snapper
 Confidently submerge head underwater and blow bubbles

 Starfish float on back and front for 5secs assisted but good body/head position

 Streamline glide on front eyes down

 Kick with noodle 5 meters front and back

 Safe water entry/exit


 Stingrays
 Streamline kick 5 meters on front

 Starfish on front and back 5secs

 Demonstrate basic freestyle arms on front 5 meters

 Kick on back with board showing straight legs

 Swim underwater through hoop un-assisted


 Dolphins
 Backstroke 10meters basic

 Freestyle 10meters basic with bilateral breathing

 Basic butterfly kick

 Kick constantly 25m with board

 Streamline glide on back


 Seals
 Full length of freestyle with appropriate head position, strong kick and comfortable

breathing

 Full length of backstroke with appropriate head and body position, arms don’t stop

 Full length butterfly kick

 Breast stroke kick with feet pointing out


 Orcas
 Can swim 4 lengths freestyle and backstroke

 Can swim 4 length breast stroke with correct timing

 Can swim 1 length butterfly with basic timing
