Congratulating Frank and his team.Fabulous conference and well run.It showed that Bowls only conferences " are needeed and well represented. The great thing that came out of this was also that the next two conferences for the North Island have been identified as well.
I offer my sincere gratulations also to Frank,Cheryl,Peter,Martin and the helpers for a very successful conference.

I take this opportunity of congratulating the Thames Valley greenkeepers for hosting the North Island conference last week.
Well done to Peter, Frank,Cheryl,Martin, Colin, David and their helpers that made it such a success. 95 delegates attended and this is close to being the best we have had in the North Island.

Conference started on Sunday afternoon at Leander Park Bowling Club (Astro)
1pm to 4pm with 3 games of 45 minutes started raining at 4.05 pm.
Winning team from Mt Maunganui Ian Newland,Noel Topp and Dean Manson

Then onto Whangamata Bowling club from 4-30 to 6-30 pm for prizegiving and a sausage sizzle for visitors and delegates to picked up their registration forms and bags with all conference details inside.
