PLAYER EXPECTATIONS

All Club members are expected to represent the Club proudly and not bring the Club or the game into disrepute. This includes playing in the correct uniform and playing fair and hard. Also, informing Coaches or Managers of any intended absences from training and games.

Expectation of Supporters
We look forward to, and encourage support for all our teams on a Saturday. However, we would like to remind supporters that it is important that fair play extend to the sidelines also. There is always going to be umpiring issues of one kind or another and any unruly behaviour and / or comments towards Umpires or the Opposition reflect badly on our Club and are unacceptable. Please support our teams in a positive manner.

Fundraising
We will, throughout the season be running fundraising events. All teams will be given plenty of notice of any upcoming events and it is expected that all members participate in these fundraisers and give these your full support. Money raised through fundraising allows us to provide the essential gear and equipment to all members to ensure the efficient running of our Club.

CNC Registration
All players must also register with the CNC (this is done via registration form tab above). This is done online and must be done prior to the first game in 2024. You need to fill out the 2024 CNC registration form online (this will be available via our club info tab above). Any questions please contact Hannah our Secretary on [email protected]. Please ensure that you register PRIOR to the end of March or teams cannot be entered into the Competition (Click here).

Attendence of Players to Training and Games
The Club understands that if you are attending University and you are from outside the Christchurch Area that there will be times that you will be returning home on holiday. However, it becomes difficult for Coaches to manage Senior teams when they are faced with more than 1 or 2 absences at one time. Based on this and our experiences from last season the following expectations are placed on senior players, especially the A, B and U19’s teams;

  • ALL players are expected to commit to the season which runs from May through to early September.
  • Coaches must be informed in plenty of time of any planned absences to arrange fill-ins etc.
  • If you are living at the University Halls and this is the sole reason why you travel home during Uni holidays, please come and speak to one of your Committee as we will do our very best to offer alternative accommodation over the holiday break should you need this.
