MATCHES

Games are either played at home or off Island on a Saturday (usually morning!).  Occasionally there will be some super early starts (7am car ferry for an 8.30am game!) so please bear that in mind when planning your Friday drinks!

The draw is put up by the ARU and sometimes these are done well in advance, other times it’s the week of the game.  Your team manager will let you know by email where the game is being played, who the opposition team are, what needs to be done etc.  Coaches and Team Managers will need confirmation from you that your child is available to play. 

PRACTICE SESSIONS 

Your team manager / coach will advise you at the beginning of the season when your team’s practise sessions will be.

We understand that sometimes things do come up and you’re not able to attend a practise session – please notify your team manager and/or coach if you can’t attend.

Practice sessions are extremely important for the teams as this is an opportunity for them to practise together, work on strengths, weakness’s and to do a bit of team bonding.

If you need help with transport for your child/ren please let your team manager know and they’ll do what they can to assist.

Remember that having signed up a child to play rugby, you have accepted a responsibility to the team, coach, club and all children playing Junior Club Rugby. This means attending Saturday games and mid-week practice sessions.
