GENERAL INFORMATION

WELCOME TO WAIHORA RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB

At Waihora RFC, we pride ourselves on being more than just a rugby club. We are a family, and we welcome new players and families with open arms. We believe that rugby is about more than just playing the game - it’s about building friendships, learning new skills, and being part of something bigger than yourself.

Our junior teams are at the heart of our club, and we provide a safe and nurturing environment for our young players to develop both on and off the field. Our coaches are passionate about helping our junior players reach their full potential, while also fostering a sense of community and teamwork.

For our senior teams, we offer a range of grades to suit players of all skill levels and experience. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, we have a team for you. Our Division One team is known for its competitive spirit and dedication, while our other grades provide a structured, fun and supportive environment for players to learn and grow.

But Waihora RFC is more than just rugby. We’re a community, and we love to come together for social events and activities. From watching the All Blacks on our junior club nights to dressing up for our annual Waihora Ball, there’s always something happening at The Nest.

So if you’re looking for a rugby club that’s more than just a team, come and join the Waihora family. We can’t wait to welcome you.
