The Levin Model Aeroplane Club was formed in 1951. For the greater part of the 75 years the club has flown from off farmland on Tararua Road.
As a model aeroplane club - aircraft flown range from high performance gliders to vintage aircraft, from free flight models to jet powered models.
The club is affiliated to the national association New Zealand Model Aircraft Association.
Like all unmanned aircraft flying in New Zealand pilots must observe the CAA rules part 101 and pilots and spectators alike must use common sense when it comes to safety.
