Founded in 1913, Richmond Rovers Rugby League & Sports Club is one of Auckland’s most historic and respected rugby league clubs, proudly based in the heart of Grey Lynn. For more than 110 years, Richmond has been built on community, culture, pride, and family values, creating a place generations of players, volunteers, supporters, and whānau proudly call home.

Richmond is a family-orientated club driven by passionate volunteers and supported by our loyal local and wider Auckland community. Today, our club is home to more than 500 junior players, 200 senior players, and over 200 social members, making Richmond one of the strongest and most connected clubs in Auckland Rugby League.

Beyond rugby league, Richmond proudly supports the wider sporting community throughout the year by partnering with and hosting other sporting codes including Grey Lynn Touch, Metro Lions American Football, Athletics, and Central Knights Tag.

At the centre of our club is Grey Lynn Park - a place where lifelong friendships are formed, memories are created, and our Richmond aiga comes together. Richmond is proud of its reputation for sportsmanship, player development, inclusiveness, and strong community leadership both on and off the field.
