Why do we ask for Sponorship?

More professionalism in sport demands a more professional approach to coaching and sporting administration. Current school operating budgets are very tight given current government funding and we are unable to just pass on increasing costs to our families.

To achieve sporting success we need to invest in our coaches and resources.

Therefore we seek support from the business community to support SBC Sport - Our sponsors are our Sporting Partners!

Please email our Sponsorship Co-ordinator Daniel Peckston: sponsorship@sbc.school.nz or Director of Sport for interest or questions: wtukapua@sbc.school.nz

What is the difference between the '100 Club' and 'Team Sponsorship'?

100 Club Sponsorship

The 100 Club is focused on supporting the overall growth and development of SBC Sport. Contributions help fund initiatives such as:

  • Coach development and education
  • Strength and conditioning programmes
  • Enhanced sporting resources and specialist equipment
  • Athlete development and performance initiatives
  • Improved social media, communications, and marketing

Our sport social media platforms generate more than 550,000 views per month, providing valuable exposure for sponsors while helping to raise the profile of SBC Sport and our athletes.

Team Sponsorship

Team Sponsorship is directed towards specific teams or sporting programmes. This may include support for:

  • Teams travelling to tournaments and competitions
  • Team uniforms and playing kits
  • Individual player sponsorship
  • Equipment or resources for a particular team
  • Premier sports teams and representative programmes

Team sponsorship packages can be tailored to meet the needs of both the sponsor and SBC Sport, creating a partnership that delivers meaningful support and appropriate recognition.
