Membership

Becoming a member of the South Canterbury Family Kart Club Incorporated is the best way to get involved in grass kart racing. Our Club is family-focused, volunteer-run, and welcomes drivers of all ages and experience levels.

Membership is on a family basis and is governed by the Club’s Constitution, Rule Book, and Codes of Conduct, which set out how the Club operates and what is expected of members and participants.

Membership Benefits

As a financial member, your family is eligible for:

• Racing at all Club Days (held on the 4th Sunday of each month, subject to weather and paddock availability)

• Lower race entry fees compared to non-members

• Eligibility to compete in the Annual Club Championships*

• Eligibility to compete in the New Zealand National Championships*

• Regular club updates, newsletters, and event reminders(sent to the email address provided on your membership form)

• Being part of a supportive, family-friendly karting community

* To be eligible for Club Championships or the New Zealand National Championships, competitors must compete in at least three Club events during the membership year or seek Committee approval and meet all eligibility requirements set out in the Rule Book.

Membership Obligations

By becoming a member, you agree that all listed family members will:

• comply with the Constitution of the South Canterbury Family Kart Club Incorporated

• comply with the Rule Book, Member Code of Conduct, and Committee Code of Conduct

• follow all directions and instructions given by Club Officials and volunteers

• complete and agree to the Club’s Indemnity, Risk Acknowledgement and Consent

• behave in a safe, respectful, and sportsmanlike manner at all Club activities

Failure to comply may result in exclusion from events or further action in accordance with the Constitution.

Membership Fees (2026 / 2027 Season)

• Family Membership: $80.00 per family (Immediate family only – Mum, Dad, Grandparents, children)

• Race Day Entry Fee: $30.00 per family

• Non-Members: Additional $20.00 Day Membership fee

• Late Entries: Additional $25.00 late entry fee applies if entering after the published cut-off time

All fees are set by the Committee in accordance with the Constitution.

How to Join

1. Complete the online membership form via Sporty
2. Enter the Primary Person’s details and select Family Membership ($80)
3. Add additional family members by selecting + Add Person and choosing Additional Family Member ($0)
4. Submit your form and pay online using POLi or direct credit
