The 2024 National School Sport Conference is a significant professional development opportunity for individuals working in the secondary school sport sector in Aotearoa, New Zealand. This includes Sports Coordinators, Sports Directors, Heads of Sport, Teachers in Charge, and Senior Management. The conference aims to enhance knowledge and understanding of quality sport opportunities for secondary school students, especially those who are less active.

Key details about the conference: 

• Date: The conference will take place on Monday 16th September commecing at 9am through to Tuesday17th September at 3pm. 

• Venue: The event will be held at the Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre. 

• Programme: While the conference program is yet to be finalized, it will include workshops, presentations, keynote speakers, and trade displays from various businesses and organizations that cater to schools’ needs. 

We suggest if you are travelling from outside of Wellington, you arrive the night before on the 15th September.   

Conference Registration Fee (exclusive GST):
School Representative: Early Bird $150 or $250 after 2nd August 2024 
General Attendee: Early Bird $250 or $350 after 2nd August 2024 

Registrations Open:  Mid-Term 2 (TBC), 2024 

Registrations Close:  Friday 30th August 2024
