Softball NZ’s President, Lynda O’Cain is pleased to announce the names of the following athletes who have been selected for this year’s White Sox training squad. This announcement notes a further selection to be ratified after the NZ Open Club Championship. "We congratulate these athletes on their WSX squad selection. Head Coach, Donny Hale is pleased to confirm these athletes. “This year the team is heading to the Canada Cup, in Surrey, British Columbia and with plans for domestic camps and a pre-tour build up makes this announcement an important part of our campaign. We will name a potential smaller number of athletes after the NZ Open Club Championship who will join the squad. There is also another small group of athletes who will be contacted and invited to attend WSX regional trainings in the off-season, with the goal of continuing to build depth within the program”.
