CANADA CUP TEAMS ANNOUNCED

Softball NZ President Lynda O'Cain is pleased to announce both the White Sox and New Zealand Under 23 Women's Major Sox will be attending the Canada Cup tournament in Vancouver, Canada this July.

As the White Sox program gears up for next year’s WBSC Group Stage qualifier, sending two teams to the Canada Cup offers a valuable chance to expose many of the White Sox squad to high-level international softball. White Sox Head Coach Craig Wallace noted that with many current White Sox squad members still eligible for Under 23 selection, this enabled a productive selection process, ensuring more athletes have the chance to impress ahead of next year’s qualifier. Emphasising greater athleticism and strong defence as key building blocks for future success.
