Waikanae Rugby Club Partnership

​​​​​​​We have joined forces with The Waikanae Rugby Club and are very grateful for their support. 

This partnership will enable WNC to use their facilities for social events but also we will proudly support Waikanae Rugby Club at their home games and on our social media channels. 

If our trainings are rained off we will hold training at The Waikanae Recreation Centre/ Waikanae Rugby Club, Ngarara Road, Waikanae. 

SEASON DATES

Semi Finals: 31 August

Finals:          7 September

NB: There will be no play on:     - 1 June: Kings Birthday weekend

                                                      -  29 June: Matariki Weekend

                                                      - 13 July: Middle week of the school holidays

FEES

Our fees this year are set at $150.00. 

The fees contribute to the cost of Team Registration with Netball Kāpiti, the use of the lights for trainings, first aid kit maintenance, the purchase and upkeep of balls/ training equipment and hoodies for each playing member. 

Fees are due, in full, by 1 June 2024.

FUNDRAISING

As with any non-profit organization or club and to ensure we are able to keep our fees at a reasonable cost, we rely on fundraising to fund the sport we love. 

Our first fundraising event - Quiz Night - was a huge success which seen us raise OVER $2,000!! This is much needed for our club as this year we are basically starting from scratch with buying new training gear and game day gear. 

We will hold a second fundraising event, mid winter - keep an eye out!

SOCIAL MEDIA 

One of our main focuses this year is to spread the word about our Club and what we're about. We encourage all Club members to like and share our social media posts as much as possible.
