Generally, most college sport codes have a junior competition for students in Year 9-10, and a senior competition for students in Year 11-13.
Students will compete at age levels, with student age as at 1st January of the year of competition or 31st December. High performing teams or individuals may be offered the opportunities to attend Regional and National tournaments.
Sports fees are calculated based on the minimum number of players for the team or event to run, and they are charged to student’s accounts. They have been calculated to include affiliation fees, entry fees, uniforms, equipment maintenance and replacement and venue hire (as appropriate). Transport costs may be an additional charge.
For sports with external coaches this will incur an additional fee for the duration of the competition.
Students are encouraged to represent school and interschool competitions and are billed to cover entry fees and related costs on an event-by-event basis.
If a team wants to do independent fundraising, this must be first approved by school management.
To learn more about the specific sport fees please visit the Parent Portal/ School Links.
Please follow the uniform requirements as indicated by ACG Sunderland. The school has to register playing uniforms, therefore, please wear uniform as stated. Students will be expected to make their own transport arrangements to and from games.
While it is appreciated that transport may be difficult at times immediately after school, students must make arrangements before the day of the competition.
